This work by Marco Bertani is part of the MeduZa collection. Its four pieces (Aphrodite, Venus, Phoenix and Diana) have an evident Greek-Roman inspiration, and represent a series of images with the purpose of showing the intrinsic character duality inside us, expressing a multitude of thoughts and personalities of each human being.
Diana, goddess of the hunt, the moon and virginity, is therefore represented here in a double exposure-like photo manipulation, her two faces distorted by an almost corrosive effect. An image that, in the artist’s words, represents “an ongoing soul research”.
Marco Bertani is a professional Italian photographer, specialized in fashion shots. He defines himself as an enthusiast by nature, fascinated by the most diverse cultures and environments.
